DJ lost a Superbowl bet and his payment was to call and ask Kelsey out on a date! Kelsey declined! Haha

But as time passed, they would talk monthly, weekly and then daily. They planned a NY trip before the world shut down and finally took that trip two years afterwards.

He moved to the big city and it became apparent pretty quickly that the days, stories and time they shared before he left, were sorely missed.

After some pretty big life events, lots of discussion and patience, they realized they wanted to give US a try.

With that commitment came so much love and understanding, tons of travel and more life events.

He ALWAYS accepted her dog loving ways and they made the leap to buy a house together so they had more room for more dogs ;P

DJ decided to drop to a knee and now he's stuck with her forever!
